• Little Daffodils Promotion
  Today the Explorers were busy weeding and digging and then planting daffodil bulbs which were kindly given to the school by Jacks Patch to celebrate their 60th anniversary!

  This week, to end their learning about Prehistoric Britain, the children explored a variety of sources of evidence linked to Iron Age religion
• Queen Victoria portraits
  KS1 have been working on their Queen Victoria portraits as part of their drawing topic in Art this half term.
• Visiting Olympian
  In December, Team GB gymnast Courtney Tulloch will be visiting our school to inspire the next generation of athletes.
• Heatree Residential 2024
  Year 6 have had the best time on their residential this last week!
• History hot seating
  Pioneers and Inventors have been really excited to add some drama to our historical studies this week!
• History detectives
  As part of our work about Black History Month, Pioneers and Inventors studied important people from the past.
• History Enrichment Morning
  The children had a fantastic (and wet) morning taking part in activities that immersed them in the lives of people from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age.
• Mount Hira Art
  KS1 have been learning about Prophet Muhammed and his time on Mount Hira.
• Beowulf and the Dragon
  In Literacy lessons this week, Pioneers and Inventors have been studying Anglo-Saxon dragons whilst reading the story ‘Beowulf and the Dragon’.
