News Stories Voyagers and Discoverers Victorian Adventure in Teignmouth! As part of our history topic this term, we have been exploring what life was like in the Victorian era — and what better way to bring our History learning to an end than with a visit to the our seaside town of Teignmouth. Creative Computing Voyagers and Discoverers have been amazing us all with their enthusiasm for Computing! National Poetry Day 2025 This week, our Voyagers and Discoverers classes celebrated National Poetry Day. The theme this year was Play, and we embraced it through rhythm, action, and plenty of fun. Music Year 3 have been learning to play the recorder. Victorian Classroom As part of learning about life in the Victorian times, Voyagers and Discoverers role played being in a Victorian classroom. Marvellous Mathematicians! Voyagers and Discoverers have been using numberlines to develop their understanding of place value. Netball - passing and footwork. This half term, Voyagers and Discoverers will be developing the skills and techniques involved in netball. They have made a fantastic start. RE In Religious Education lessons this half term, Voyagers and Discoverers are thinking about a big question:What do Christians learn from the creation story? Animals' diets and spotting patterns In our first science lesson for the topic 'Animals including humans', we looked at how food helps animals and spotted patterns in the food animals eat. Hot seating In our Literacy lessons, Discoverers and Voyagers are reading ‘The Invisible’ and studying the reactions of the people in the story.
