  We have be learning a poem about fireworks and today we used musical instruments to make the sounds!

  The children were in awe of the colourful array of vegetables!
• Roman Researchers
  Year 5 have demonstrated excellent learning skills this week as they studied Romans in Britain.
• Devon Waste Workshop
  On Monday, Alex from Devon Waste came into school to deliver a workshop called 'Plastic Pirates'.
• Treasure Hunt!
  Today, to finish our topic learning about pirates, we went on a treasure hunt around school.
• DT - Bathing machines
  Discoverers and Voyagers created some wonderful models as their final learning task of this half term.
• Pumpkin play!
  The Explorers had great fun scooping out the pumpkin and pretending to make a range of pumpkin dishes. Words used to describe the pumpkin flesh included 'yucky' and 'slimy'!

  The Explorers have been amazing Stickatops in their learning this week!
