• Children’s Mental Health Week 2023
  As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, our Mental Health Ambassadors led assemblies around the school.
• Safer Internet Day
  This week, Inventors and Pioneers took part in 'Safer Internet Day'.
• Number Day
  Number day is a big thumbs up from Pioneers and Inventors!
• Impressionist landscapes
  Using previous design work, and the skills gained following Brian Taylor’s visit last week, Pioneers and Inventors have been busy creating their own artwork.
• Art Workshop
  This week, we were lucky to have Brian Taylor deliver an art workshop to help us develop our watercolour painting techniques.
• Design and Technology  
  In DT over the next couple of weeks, Pioneers and Inventors are studying mechanisms to create a moving toy (automaton). 
• Art
  In our Art topic this term, we have been looking at the work of impressionist artists such as Claude Monet.
• PE
  As part of our Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA) in PE this half term, we have been problem solving in our PE lessons.
• South American food technology
  Pioneers and Inventors worked as collaborative chefs in our Design and Technology lesson today.
• Merry Christmas!
  Pioneers and Inventors have enjoyed some festive fun this week and would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
