    Smugglers' Lane and Smugglers' Tunnel.

    The children learnt about smugglers from our locality. They were able to recognise key areas where smugglers used to collect their cargo and collect it without paying tax. Particular areas in Devon were Smugglers' Tunnel leading to Ness Beach in Shaldon and Smugglers' Lane in Holcombe leading to Smugglers' Cove.
