In today's Topic lesson, the children took part in Victorian role play activities. We had English lessons where we used slate (and some black paper with chalk) to write on as well as practising chanting poems at the same time.
We also had a drill outside (PE lesson) where the children had to complete a series of exercises whilst standing in lines all facing the teacher. The children were most interested in Victorian discipline and enjoyed wearing a dunce hat as part of the role play!
