In our maths learning this week we have been finding out about halving.
We have been halving groups of objects, sharing them into two equal groups. We found out that half of 10 is 5..some children used their knowledge of doubles to make the link that 5 doubled is 10. Great 'solveasaurs' today!
We also enjoyed making sandwiches for snack today. We were great at spreading the butter using the knives, then having a go at cutting the sandwich in half! We found lots of different ways to do it!
