In phonics this week we have been learning to read and write the sound 'f' and 'ff' We found out that 'ff' is usually found at the end of words.
In our group learning time we have been challenging each other to read and spot the sounds in captions and sentences.
We have been fantastic at segmenting words on our fingers before writing words and captions.
Some of us made frog hats. We were brilliant at using our problem solving skills to make our hats the right size. We even painted flowers using our fingers!
We will also be learning 'ss' and 'll' towards the end of the week.
