Voyagers and Discoverers had a challenge set to produce an interactive page with a complex moving mechanism.
After; looking at interactive books, learning about linkages and lever mechanisms, making prototypes and designing their own story book pages, the children started to make their final product. This required a great amount of resilience and problem solving. They had to consider the placement of mechanism, what materials to use and how they were going to hide the mechanism! We were truly amazed with the determination of the children and how they adapted their designs. Great Design and Technology skills.
