To end our Autumn 1 term, Inventors and Pioneers took part in our Anglo-Saxon and Viking battle day!
The children thoroughly enjoyed bringing our topic learning to life when re-enacting battles from the time period studied. After interpreting sources in previous lessons, children were able to act out the events leading up to the battles accurately and in correct chronological order. The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout our battles and were really considerate of one another. A MASSIVE thank you to all the family and friends who helped our lovely children create their amazing costumes, shields and weapons – we were very impressed with how historically accurate they were! Fantastic job Inventors and Pioneers!
