Today Year 3 had a lot of fun building their own 3-D shapes from a range of construction materials including straws, match sticks, and plasticine.
Children made shapes such as cubes, cuboids, prisms and pyramids and used mathematical language to describe them by identifying the number of faces, edges and vertices.
