The children were so curious during our minibeast hunt and were super at ‘noticing’ living things! We talked about insects having six legs and used the word ‘habitat’ to identify different homes.
We talked about the need to use our eyes only and not to pick up the minibeast and the children enjoyed using the magnifying glasses to carefully observe the creatures they found.
