As part of our Animals Topic, we have been creating collages of exotic birds in Years 5 & 6.
We have looked at the work of collage artists such as Richard Newby and Megan Coyle and have used their artwork to draw inspiration from, experimenting with some of their techniques such as 'painting by paper'. It has been great to see the children's creativity and see them really carefully considering colours and different ways to create textures - we can't wait to see their final pieces. Well done Inventors and Pioneers!
