As part of our RE topic about Special Places we visited St John's church to find out why they are special places for Christians.
In school we have been finding out about the features of a church such as a font, cross, candle and lectern and the children were great at spotting them during our visit. Rev Dave taught the class some songs with his guitar and held a pretend wedding ceremony which the children loved!
