KS1 had a fantastic time for this year's WBD, We shared our favourite books and had some special visitors read with us!
The children looked amazing dressed as characters from their favourite books and we had a lovely time sharing these books together. One of the books we shared together was 'Flooded' by Mariajo Ilustrajo, we made predictions, spoke about our favourite parts and wondered what the different animals were thinking at important parts in the book. We also created some wellies to wear incase there was another flood. We used wax crayons to create our designs before using watercolours to add colour and reveal the patterns we had created. The day was rounded off by some special visitors coming to read with us - our friends and families! What a fantastic day!
