The Year 2s have been composers this morning as they wrote and performed their own music using high, middle and low pitches.
Year 2 have been learning about different pitches. First they started by learning a song which featured characters with low, middle and high pitches, from here they started to identify different patterns of low, middle and high pitches that had been played. Today, the children worked in small groups to compose their own music for glockenspiels. We loved hearing their final performances and we played a little game to see if we could recall the patterns of pitches they had used. Their teachers were very impressed and proud!
