Inventors and Pioneers celebrated Safer Internet Day by discussing ways to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all.
The children took part in an activity where they recognised and defined different persuasive design techniques and discussed how these devices influence internet usage.The children were able to recognise both positive and negative effects of persuasive design techniques and were very honest about the amount of different techniques they had encountered when using the internet. The children had some fantastic ideas about how we can make the internet a safe and positive place and were all confident they could identify ways to stay safe online.
