In science, this week the children have been learning about their muscles and how they are needed to move.
The children learnt how muscles worked in pairs and that they always pull and never push. They looked at what some of the main muscles in our body are called and worked in teams to post-it note these on models in groups. Then, the children worked in pairs to create a model of an arm to show that muscles work in pairs to move a bone inside the body by contracting and relaxing.
