Discoverers and Voyagers had a blast at the zoo today.
We managed to see a huge number of the animals that the zoo has to offer. Each child had their own favourite that they have hopefully learned a lot about. The children were encouraged to keep a close eye out for species which are endangered and were brilliant at talking about why this might be.
The children listened to a talk about the giraffes and this linked brilliantly to our learning in science about the skeletal system and different animal diets.
