The children in KS1 were delighted to welcome Reverend Carol and Peter from St. John's Church as they learnt more about religion in their community.
Reverend Carol taught us about the church calendar and showed us all the different times and the colours that went with each one. We loved her stoles, they were so pretty and we especially liked a very colourful one that Reverend Carol had been given as a gift. We learnt about Communion, what each part represents and why this is very special to Christians. We also got the chance to understand different events in the church such as baptisms and explore different important artefacts from the church. Thank you so much to Reverend Carol and Peter who gave us their time to share their part of our community with them.
