KS1 children were treated to a visit from the author, illustrator and poet Kev Payne.

The children played with words in songs and nursery rhymes. met an action story telling dragon and created poetry with a wizard. So much excitement and fun was had with every child joining in and even creating a whole class poem: We are very grateful to Kev for being such an inspiration to us all!
Margo - We made a 'School Soup' poem and it made me feel happy!
Evie - I love my Humpty Dumpty poem I wrote, I am a proud poet.
