To start our new topic all about kites, we explored the history of different kites and what they look like.
We learned that kites come in all different shapes and sizes: diamond, sleds, cellulars, rokkakus, deltas, para foils, inflatables, carp, stunt and novelty. We also learned that kites have had many different uses throughout the centuries, including in the military, to predict the weather and just for fun! We then had a go at designing our own stunt kites according to set criteria.
