This week in History, we learned how to order events and artefacts chronologically.
First, we found out that the older the artefact, the deeper it will be preserved in the ground. After that, we completed an activity by sorting the dates in the soil layers from the earliest date (nearest to the surface) to the oldest date (deepest point below the surface).
Next, we looked at the timeline of Ancient Egypt and ordered the events in chronological order.
We also discussed how other periods of history that we have already studied (Stone Age, Bronze, and Iron Age) fit into the BC/AD timeline too.
