Sunday 22nd January marked the beginning of Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is celebrated by many people around the world and is the most important holiday in China.
We enjoyed finding out about the celebration and we were excited to find out that this year is the year of the Rabbit. In class we enjoyed sharing the story of 'The Great Race' through our small world story telling area.
We also used our cutting and organising skills to make our own lanterns. Great Solveadactyls! We found out that red and gold are lucky colours!
