The children conducted a scratch test on different rocks to see which ones were harder than others.
After learning lots about the different properties of rocks and the different types that exist, the children were able to apply this knowledge and test which rocks were the hardest. They thought carefully about how they could test this and organise their experiment. In the end, each group found that they all had quite similar results, which could reflect on as a positive sign for their investigation!
