KS1 celebrated their learning of Comparing People and Places topic today by making party masks to celebrate 'Carnival'.
KS1 learnt about traditional South American carnivals today in Geography, focusing on the February carnival in Ecuador. The children linked their learning to how Lent is celebrated in the United Kingdom and compared it to Mardi Gras carnivals. Each child was inspired to make their own carnival mask so that we could have our own party in class. Well done KS1, we think you look amazing!
