Pioneers and Inventors worked as collaborative chefs in our Design and Technology lesson today.
We really enjoyed making tortillas from scratch by kneading dough to a pliable consistency. We then cooked our tortillas and ate then with a delicious vegetarian chilli, which we also prepared and cooked. Fantastic peeling, chopping and dicing skills were demonstrated by all the children who had researched Mexican recipes as part of our 'Comparing people and places' topic.
What a wonderful end to a term of fantastic learning!
