The children had their first attempt at recreating some examples of Stone Age cave art.
After learning to apply pencils and sketching pencils in different ways to achieve different tones, the children created pictures based on real Stone Age cave art.
They were able to talk about what they liked and what skills they used to achieve the effects. They also learned a valuable lesson about being resilient, taking their time with careful observation and that their first try is never their best.
