Pioneers and Inventors had a visitor from the Fire Service today.
They found out all about the different roles carried out by firefighters by watching clips of animals being rescued and seeing how smoke spreads during a fire. They also discussed testing smoke alarms in their homes every month to ensure they are safe. The children listened carefully and were praised by our visitor for their levels of concentration and expert knowledge during the visit.
