To celebrate British Science Week, we carried out an investigation on Wednesday.
We discussed our opinions and thought about the following question.... 'Do our body parts grow as we get older?'
The children shared some great ideas and enjoyed explaining their reasons for their answer.
After this, we decided to measure people's hands who were different ages. We found out that older children normally had bigger hands and that the adults had larger hands than the children.
We discussed how we would answer our investigation question and gave examples of some body parts that do continue to grow like hair and nails and some body parts that don't.
