In our recent Science lessons, we have been learning about evolution and inheritance.
After discussing the work of Charles Darwin and the Galapagos Island finches he studied, we created an investigation to determine if the shape of a beak provided any advantage to eat a certain diet. Using scientific methods, we predicted and tested our hypotheses to see how effectively various pieces of equipment would grab our bird food. This helped us to understand how animals adapt to their environment.
