The Explorers had great fun using lids and their fingers to make poppy paintings for Remembrance Day!
We talked about why we have Remembrance day and why we wear poppies. We watched a lovely 2 minute animation following a young rabbit through poppy fields as we observed the 2 minute silence. The children were great at learning the Makaton sign for soldier!
