After reading the story 'Mr Gumpy's Outing' the children were in spired to make their own boats!
The children thought about the materials they would use for their boats and whether they were waterproof. They could choose from cardboard boxes, plastic containers, paper and fabric. Some children decided to make their own masts and sails too. Enjoy testing your boats out at home!
