Happy New Year and welcome back to all the Explorers! The children have really enjoyed being back as a class this week and it has been lovely to see how quickly they have settled back into our school routine. Our new School topic is "Lights, Camera, Action!" and we have used the video clips from the film 'Frozen' and 'The Snowman' to introduce our mini topic on 'Winter'. The children have enjoyed playing with our new Frozen castle and exploring all the new activities around the classroom. Rolling the balls into the cups and keeping score was a popular activity! On Thursday the windy weather prompted some children to make paper aeroplanes which they then had great fun trying to fly in the playground! The Explorers were excited to see their Buddies again and enjoyed reading with some of them again this week.
