What a busy week we've had in the Explorers! First we celebrated Shrove Tuesday by tasting pancakes and holding pancake races in our House teams. On Wednesday we made Welsh flags for St David's day and in the afternoon a visit form Dee the vet prompted lots of questions from the children about the role of a vet. Then on Thursday we all had great fun dressing up in our pyjamas for World Book Day. From the story 'The Day the Crayon's Quit' we answered the letter from the purple crayon which had asked it's owner to stay inside the lines when colouring. The children all coloured in patchwork squares which we then stuck together to make Elmer the Elephant. Briana won our colouring completion for staying inside the lines the most!
